Leisure E-Newsletter

 

In March, I was tasked with writing an article about West Austin for ACVB's April Leisure E-Newsletter, which has a readership of 50,000+. With the help of my supervisor, I published a piece to attract visitors to the local experience in West Austin. The April newsletter is below. 

 

​Writing a full piece for the April Leisure E-Newsletter helped me gain exposure as a writer and also gave me more experience working with an agency to produce content. I worked with ACVB's agency to brainstorm topics and then wrote the piece. It contributed to my greater goal of producing content.  

 

Experience working with an agency is important as most companies contract other agencies for publishing or even for PR and Marketing directives. Learning to collaborate with someone that works outside of your organization is valuable experience, as is the process of content creation in itself.
